The concept of mashing two completely different games together, one which completely lacks a durability system, and one that uses one, and deciding to use a poorly executed durability system in an environment where pausing to swap out tools/weapons just because they break 90% of the times means death for the user, … that’s just terrible design, imho. Durability shouldn’t exist, especially since it doesn’t add any ‘value’ to gameplay in my honest to goodness opinion. Just additional unnecessary tedium and unnecessary resource sinks overall.
